After-School Program
The After-School Program is a community inclusive socialization program that meets the developmental needs of students in the Martin County Middle and High Schools. Students participate in recreational activities, do volunteer work, learn computer skills, practice daily living skills and enjoy outings with their peers. This program runs on school days, Tuesday through Friday, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Student Resource Center on the YMCA campus.

Summer Camp
The ARC, in collaboration with the YMCA of the Treasure Coast, offers a three week summer camp each year. Martin County children with developmental disabilities, ages six through 22, are eligible to attend. Community outings, swimming, and bowling are just a few of the activities enjoyed by the campers.

Saturday Respite
The Respite Program provides short-term care to children with disabilities. With the help of trained and experienced staff, family members have the opportunity to get  some relief from the stress and fatigue they experience in the role as 24-hour caregivers to their child with special needs. Respite services may also include overnight care in the family's home. This program enables families to take a few hours off to do errands, spend time with their other children, or just take a much-needed break. Respite is "the gift of time."

Fun Friday
Fun Friday is a social evening for teens and young adults. In a supervised setting, young people who have developmental disabilities can enjoy leisure activities. The Fun Friday group bowls, goes to restaurants and movies, attends baseball games and participates in a variety of age appropriate activities with our caring and competent staff. Just like typical developing teens, young people who have disabilities enjoy the company of their peers as well as the "freedom" of socializing without parental supervision.
