In the nomination letter, Kathryn Treadwell, Director of Community Development for the ARC, noted that, “In one year, Chuck White was credited with raising $302,556 for the ARC of Martin County. Chuck has steadily increased the contributions to the ARC of Martin County and the families we assist each day for 13 years and he has big plans for the future.”
Mr. White is serving his second term on the board of directors of the ARC. Under his leadership, the ARC has raised over $1,000,000 in the past four years for their special event, An Evening of Entertainment. His wife, Laurie, has served as the co-chair of the event for many years.
Chuck White, who is a Regional Director with Publix Super Markets, has devoted countless hours to meeting with volunteers, individuals and corporate leaders on behalf of the ARC. His efforts have resulted in donated holiday meals for individuals living in the organization’s group homes, replacement of vehicles that needed to be retired, music therapy programs and the purchase of musical instruments and much more.
Mr. White also serves on the capital campaign committee for the ARC whose goal is to develop a critical shelter for special needs populations throughout the Treasure Coast that will offer protection in the event of a natural disaster.
