Behavioral Health Services

Through the services of a skilled Level 1 and Level 2 Board Certified Behavior Analyst, The ARC can provide behavioral interventions that specifically target undesirable behaviors for extinction and desirable behaviors for acquisition.  Functional assessments can narrow the scope of behavioral interventions for both children and adults with intellectual disabilities to bring the greatest degree of success for the individual.

Supported Employment

The ARC recognizes that all people want and have the right to a full and productive life which includes a home, family, work and participation in community groups and activities.  Our Supported Employment program assists people with disabilities to get and keep jobs in the community. Encouraged and assisted by an employment specialist or job coach, individuals seek employment, train on the job, and join the work force. Participants earn competitive wages while they gain pride and sustain their independence and community involvement.

Respite Care

The ARC of Martin County is also there for the individuals with disabilities. To enable families to attend to other responsibilities, arrangements can be made for children and adults with disabilities to stay at day program sites or overnight in a residential setting. Here they are provided with assistance in self-care, social, work and recreational activities in a safe environment.
